Hello and welcome!
I am Caitlin and I offer in-person and online sessions (telehealth) to adults on weekdays and evenings.
As I am finalizing my graduate studies in Counseling, I do not take insurance, but I can see you at a lower self-pay rate of $75 per individual session and $100 for couples session.
Here are some questions I can help answer with you.
Are you going through anxiety, depression, or grief?
Does life feel overwhelming right now? Has the pandemic brought concerns to you at work or at home? Or are you feeling sad, depressed or unmotivated, lacking motivation and energy? Would you like to learn new strategies to deal with these common life challenges? My expertise includes anxiety and depression, and I can share with you effective strategies to deal with these challenges.
Or are you grieving the loss of a loved one, a friend, a job, a romantic partner, or a life dream? Have you been feeling stuck in that pain? There are several ways to grieve a loss, and there is no certain path to get over it. Talking to a therapist can help you mourn your loss at your own pace.
Are you a woman facing intimacy or sexual issues?
Women tend to feel confused when they can’t keep up with their partner’s sexual drive. Women tend to blame themselves, feel broken, when most of what is going on is completely normal and expected. I have many years of clinical experience as a nurse and sexual health, and I understand what is going on with a woman’s body. I want to help all women to understand that they are fine; they just need to learn more about how their body works and how to communicate their needs to their partners. I can help you through individual counseling and/or one of my workshop on Sexual Health for Women. Learn more about women’s sexual issues HERE
Are you an individual that wants to become a better partner in your relationship?
Sometimes relationships get tough. Once the honeymoon phase is gone, communication issues tend to come up and conflict or distance comes in. If you want to learn more about yourself and improve your communication and conflict management, I can help. There are many tools that can be used to address these issues.
Are you a couple that is facing communication, conflict, or other relationship issues?
If you are a couple facing these issues, please be sure that these are common in relationships. John Gottman talks about how 69% of the differences between romantic partners are perpetual, due to genetics, upbringing, and lifestyle choices. So learning to pick your battles and negotiate your differences is essential for the success of your relationship. I am also a sex educator and I can help you with some of your questions about sex.
We are a comprehensive, sex-positive team of professionals who are here to support you!
